The characterization is okay, I liked Luke a lot but the rest of the characters are pretty grey in tone. The way Amanda Marrone crafted the mystery aspect of the plot was fantastic, and I was on the edge of my seat for several scenes. It’s a short, fast paced read. But when the visions Remy haunts Megan with get crazy violent, Megan must turn to Luke to figure out what her twin is trying to say. The plot is fast-paced and full of suspense, gripping readers right from the start—the book will be devoured by fans of the supernatural.

The ending was a little bit abrupt, but by no means did it affect the story. That was about it! Remy’s appearances and spooky prophetic warnings were definitely one of the magrone points; they added suspense, spookiness, and intrigue.
